MATERIALS IN DIRECT CONTACT WITH THE APPLIANCE ON THESE SURFACES.
When the appliance is installed directly on carpeting, tile or other combustible material other
than wood flooring, the appliance shall be installed on a metal or wood panel extending the full
width and depth of the appliance. Specified clearances shall be maintained from the top surface
of carpeting, tile, etc.

Front of the appliance is an open side of the combustion chamber
covered with the glass.
Facing the front of the appliance side from left is the left side of the
appliance and side from right is the right side of the appliance.
