T hr ottle L ock

T hr ottle lock is an important safety feature incorportated in y our
DC/DS-16 transmitt er . T his feature effectively disengages or „locks“
the throttle channel
output in the closed or off position so that y ou
can not accidentally start your model ’ s mot or . T o activat e/deac tivat e
the throttle lock go to the „Main Menu“ and then press the „F1
(lock/unlock)“ button.
Y ou will see the small padlock icon change
to indicate the lock/unlocked condition. Additionally, when the
throttle is locked you will see a padlock icon appear in the center of
the top bar of the
deskt op .
9.7 Select Input c on tr ol

This menu allows you to select your desired input control devic e
(switch, k nob , stick or logical switch) for a given function. This menu
will appear any time you edit an input control device seletion. I n this
menu you can also assign/edit how a control device func tions . Y ou
can set the contol device to have two types of proportional output
or just a simple ON/OFF function. From this menu you can also
reverse the control devic e ’ s functional dir ec tion.










Hint:
Use the throttle lock whenever you are handling a
model
whose power system is active to eliminate the chance of
accidentally activating the throttle and u n e x pe c te d l y
starting the motor .
1. Switch
Assignmen t
When the menu
appears , you can either press the „F1 (Log)“ butt on
to select/edit a logical switch for your function or you can simply
move the stick, switch or knob that you want to use to control the
function. When you move the chosen control device it will be
recogized and assigned to your function. T he control device name
and current status is displa y ed . Once the control is activated you can
use the function butt ons to configure the control devic e .
Hint:
Think about what
position/direction that you want the
control to work and move the stick, switch or knob into
position before you enter the assignment men u .
