Indicator Lights and Their Meaning
Indicator Light
When It Happens
Description & Meaning
When the power
button is switched on
All three indicator
lights turn on in turn.
The machine is
performing a self-check.
Wait until it is done.
Right before you are
ready to make coffee
The single cup and
double cup indicator
lights flash. This
indicates the machine is
preheating. Wait until
it’s finished to proceed.
The single cup and
double cup indicator
lights are on solidly (no
flashing). The machine
is ready to make coffee;
proceed.
Right before you are
ready to steam milk
The steam indicator
lights flash. This
indicates the machine is
preheating. Wait until
it’s finished to proceed.
The steam indicator
lights are on solidly (no
flashing). The machine
is ready to produce
steam; proceed.
When the steam knob
needs to be turned
OFF
The single cup and
double cup indicator
lights flash. Turn the
steam knob to the OFF
position.
