32 Recording With Remote Control
To resume a recording:
Press the remote control button once, and keep
it pressed for about 2 seconds.
If you do this within 10 minutes of
stopping a previous recording, the
recording resumes from the point it
stopped, without starting a new file.
If you do this after 10 minutes have
passed, the STING starts a new file.
If you pause a recording and resume it, the
video timestamp may not be exactly accurate.
For example, if you pause the recording at 9:35
and resume it at 9:40, the timestamp will
resume from 9:35, and there will be a five-
minute
“ gap “ . So an event that takes place at
9:45 will have a timestamp for 9:40.
