2. Thisapplianceisnotintendedforuseby
persons(includingchildren)withreduced

orlackofexperienceandknowledge,un-
lesstheyhavebeengivensupervisionor
instruction concerning use of the appliance

5. Connect the appliance only to an AC
powersupplywiththevoltageindicated
ontheratingplate.
6. Donotoperatethisappliancewithanex-
ternaltimerorremotecontrolsystem.
7. Thehandlemustneverbeimmersedinto
theliquid.
8. Do not clean the appliance and the pro-
tective cap in the dishwasher.
9. Switch on the appliance only after putting
itintoajugwithflatbottom.
10. When placing the attachments take care
that the attachment is fixed firmly. For

11. Whenevertheknifeisbentordamaged,
werecommendtoreplaceitimmediately
in order to avoid collateral damages of
saucepansandrecipients.
12. The appliance is fitted with safety pres-
s-switch, which prevents the unit being
unintentionally switched on, and also
switchesitoffassoonasthepress-switch
isreleased.
13. Do not apply too much pressure when
chopping hard foodstuff, just hold the
blender on the foodstuff and move it
slightlyupanddown.
14. Nevertouchthe appliance or leadcable
withwethands.
15. Donotplacetheapplianceorleadcable
nearopenflamesduringoperation.
16. Makesurethat theleadcable doesnot
hang over the edge of the worktop or
table,sincethiscancauseaccidents,for
exampleifsmallchildrenpullonthecable.
17. Routetheleadcablesothatitispreven-
tedfrombeingpulledortrippedover.
18. Alwaysdisconnecttheleadcablefromthe
wallsocketpullingontheplug,neveron
thecable.
19. Toavoidinjuries,nevertouchtherotary
partsoftheapplianceanddonotputob-
jectsorpartsofthebodyintheoperating
appliance.
20. Do not use the appliance with accessories
ofothermanufacturersorbrands,topre-
ventdamage.
21. Disconnect the appliance from the wall
socket after use and prior to cleaning.
Never leave the appliance unattended
whenitisconnectedtothewallsocket.
22. Check the appliance, the wall socket
andthelead cable regularlyfor wear or
damage.In case the leadcable orother
parts appear damaged, please send the
appliance or the baseto ourafter sales
service for inspection and repair (for
ad-dress,seewarrantyterms).Unautho-
risedrepairscanconstituteseriousrisks
fortheuserandvoidthewarranty.
