5.5 Alternative methods of content filtering
5.5.1 Scanning email messages in CommuniGate Pro using esets_cgp
CommuniGate Pro is the powerful and reliable Unified Communications server and
esets_cg p
is used for content filtering (anti-
virus and anti-spam filtering).
Esets_cg p
only allows scanning of incoming email messages.
Esets_cg p
does not allow modification of scanned email
messages and denies ESETS access to clean or delete infected email attachments. As a result, the ESETS footnote with log and
status dependent header fields will not be written into the email message. Also,
esets_cg p
does not provide mail sender/recipient
information. Thus, user specific configurations are unavailable and advanced mail handling features (accept, defer, discard,
reject) are limited.
