Troubleshooting
Problem
Does not recognize that the radar
detector is connected.
I only get a double beep during an
alert.
The radar detector is alerting but
the SC55 is not doing anything.
Solution
• Turn SC55 power off and then back on.
• Check all cable connections.
• Check
Cruise Alert setting.
• Turn Cruise Alert off if you prefer full alerts regardless of
your speed.
• Make sure AutoMute is turned off on the radar detector.
• Make sure Voice Alerts are off on the radar detector
(if applicable).
• Make sure radar detector volume is set at maximum.
