Instructions and Part Numbers
1. Made for use on cast rims. Not recommended for use on standard steel rims.
2. Remove wheel weights from rim before using tool.
3. Tool should only be used by experienced personnel using all safety precautions listed for center post machines.
4. Always use tire lubricant on the bead to mount and dismount tire.
5. Nose of the tool should be hand guided during tire mounting to minimize camming or kickup of the hook body end.
6. Position bead over hook body and against body horn for tire mounting.
7. Do not force tool into tire during mounting. Minimize potential for bead sciving by observing bead and hook insert during tool
rotation.
8. Insure bead is completely broken away from the rim before dismounting tire.
9. Inserts are replaced by using 1/8 and 3/16 Hex. Allen wrenches for the #1 0-32 and 1/4-28 Hex socket flat head cap screws.
10. Model 70201 Replacement Kit (consists of 1 each 70202 and 70204).
11. Improper use of the Mag Wheel Tool may cause damage to the tool that is not covered under warranty.
Caution:
Tool is designed to mount tires with a counter clockwise rotation of the tool. On dual acting center post machines, do not
use the clockwise rotation cycle to mount tires.
Do not pry tool out of mounted tire. This can cause bending of fracture of the steel hook body.
