3.2 Properly Tighten Pressure Regulator onto the Whip Hose
Properly tighten the Pressure Regulator onto the whip hose
using a 3/4” wrench on the Pressure Regulator (part #10601)
and a 9/16” wrench on the whip hose (part #10601H).
4.1 Properly Tighten Whip Hose onto the Pump
After completing 3.2, tightening the Pressure Regulator onto the 6”
whip hose, place the other end of the whip hose onto the air inlet
side of the air hydraulic pump. Properly tighten the whip hose using
a 9/16” wrench. Make sure pump and whip hose are properly
tight
ened before moving onto the next step.
5.1 Attach Air Supply Nipple
After properly attaching the air regulator and whip hose to the air
hydraulic pump, properly attach and tighten an air supply nipple
to the
open port on the Pressure Regulator (part #10601) with a
9/16” wrench. Refer to graphic 5.2 to see Pressure Regulator on
the air hydraulic pump
5.3 Attach Air Supply to Pressure Regulator
Once the air nipple is properly installed onto the Pressure
Regulator, see figure 5.1, attach the Pressure Regulator to the
air supply. The Pressure Regulator at this point is properly
installed and ready to be used on the ESCO air hydraulic pump
to power any ESCO Bead Breakers, Rams, Jacks, and more.
