Hello EOS friends, It’s been a busy start to 2014. The January sale event that we held here in Tackley was great fun and it was lovely to meet so many of you. Luckily the snow held off – trust us, getting in and out of the village here is no picnic when the weather is bad. So now we are looking forward to the sun and to our next event in early June. Support The number one cause of poor pictures is camera shake. Lenses with builtin image stabilisation are a major step forward, but keeping your camera steady is the best solution. Tripods are the obvious accessories for reducing camera shake. Monopods are a good alternative for travelling light.

Light An understanding of light is critical to a successful photo. Get the white balance right with a grey card or use a white balance cap to take a test shot, then adjust your settings accordingly.
