7.3 TROUBLESHOOTING NON-ECM INSTALLATIONS
This section provides some solutions if the installation of your
Ehubo is unsuccessful or the Ehubo doesn’t perform as expected.
The following issues might occur on non ECM installations. See
the pin diagrams in the Appendix for more information, if needed.

Device is not
powering on or
remains blank
Red permanent
power wire is
not connected
properly or is not
connected to a
good source
Black ground
wire is not
connected to a
good ground
Main cable
has become
unplugged
from the back
of the unit
Check that the
permanent power
has been connected
correctly and there is
12-24V when the key
is in the OFF, ON, and
RUN positions.
Ensure that there
is a good ground
connected to the
black wire
Ensure that the main
cable is fully seated in
the connection on the
back of the unit.
Ensure that the fuse
inline is connected
per the installation
instructions, and the
2A fuse is inserted
Engine on/
o icon shows
incorrectly
Ignition
(switched
power) is not
connected
properly
Ensure that switched
power has been
connected correctly
and there is 12-24V
when the key is in
the ON and RUN
positions, and there
are zero volts when
the key is in the OFF
positions
Ensure that the fuse
in-line is connected
per the installation
instructions, and the
2A fuse is inserted
