3. Tap the Yes button in this screen after installing the

EROAD ECM Y-cable and ensuring that the device is properly

connected to the ECM.

4. The following prompt displays if you are on the latest ﬁrmware.

4A. Tap the No button when using the ECM Y-cable.

4B. Tap the Yes button only if you've installed the

device in a light or medium-duty vehicle not equipped with a

standard, round 9-pin or 6-pin diagnostic connector, and you

are using this adapter.

5. Turn the engine ON and ensure that it is running (not just ON).

Tap the Engine Running button.
