Keyboard types
Five different keyboard types can be used to control the SYSTEM 500M:
Keyboard 1500M: Arrow keys for Pan/Tilt, no display, one shared RS232/RS485 port, no
Adpro control keys, no ICU control keys
Keyboard 1501M: Joystick for Pan/Tilt, no display, one shared RS232/RS485 port, no
Adpro control keys, ICU control keys, possibility for direct ICU/Camera Station control.
Keyboard 1502M: Arrow keys for Pan/Tilt, display, one shared RS232/RS485 port, ARC
NET port, Adpro control keys, ICU control keys, macro recording, possibility for direct
ICU/Camera Station control.
Keyboard 1503M: Joystick for Pan/Tilt, display, one shared RS232/RS485 port, ARC NET
port, Adpro control keys, ICU control keys, macro recording, possibility for direct
ICU/Camera Station control.
Front panel keyboard: This is the internal keyboard of the SYSTEM 500M, it has arrow
keys for Pan/Tilt, no Adpro control keys, no ICU control keys.

Legends Used
When two keys are used in a combination, i.e. typically the ESC key and another key, the first
key is depressed and released again before the second key is depressed. The second key should
be activated within approximately 2 seconds after the first key is released. This procedure is
basically equal to the normal key strokes when selecting cameras etc.
This method is illustrated by using an "→→" sign between the two keys, refer to the example
below:
