Step1: checking the Rough Opening
• Measure rough opening to confirm the rough opening is the correct size.
 The rough opening width and height must be at least 1/2” larger than the overall door frame
size for proper installation.
• Using the level check if the Rough opening is plum and level. Make any adjustments needed to
ensure that the rough opening is plum and level and ready to install the door.
Step2: Unpack the frame and door using the Knife and
hammer
• Unwrap the frame using the Knife.
• Open and unwrap the door box using the hammer and knife.
