STEP IV. Sink Installation

STEP V. Countertop Installation

Carefully place the sink onto the support

frame; verify the sink can properly fit in the

cabinet opening and be supported by the

frame. Make small adjustments if necessary.

Check for levelness with a spirit level and use

shims to level the sink if needed.

Apply a bead of silicone sealant on the top of the sink where it would contact the

countertop to create a watertight seal.

Carefully install the countertop and verify levelness; apply silicone sealant where

the sink meets the cabinet; remove any excess silicone.

Install the water supply and drainage system as per the manufacturer’s instruc-

tions and run water to test for leakage.

Sink Top Flush with Cabinet Top

NOTE The top of the sink must be flush with that of the cabinet for proper under-

mount installation.
