Technical Description and User Guide F3307
3.2 Core Features
3.2.1 Browsing and internet access
F3307 provides a standard Internet connection using a Network Driver Interface
Specification (NDIS) “Wireless WAN” adaptor. It is possible to use the Internet or
intranet with a generic browser.
A common e-mail solution is to use an Internet connection and Transport Layer
Security (TLS) to browse corporate e-mail via a web interface.
F3307 works with most popular corporate Virtual Private Networking (VPN)
solutions.
3.2.2 SMS
F3307 can send and receive text messages with the convenience of a full keyboard.
Facilities such as copy and paste make it fast and easy to send information via text
messages from a computer. The standard maximum length of a text message is 160
characters, (dependent on text coding), but since concatenation is supported,
messages larger than 160 characters can be sent and received.
