Field Description
IP Address The IP addresses involved in the communication. The first one
shown is the initiator of the communication.
Port The hardware addresses of the ports involved in the
commmunication.
In/Out Rule Index The number of the IP Filter rule that is applied to this session
(assigned when the rule was created).
In/Out Action The action (accept, deny, or unknown) being taken on data
coming in to or going out from the interface. This action is
specified in the rule definition.
11.3 To Block Specific Protocols
The Blocked Protocols feature prevents the HM210dp/di from passing any data that
uses a particular protocol. Unlike the IP Filter feature, you cannot specify additional
criteria for blocked protocols, such as particular users or destinations.
Note:
Blocking certain protocols may disrupt or disable your
network communication or Internet access. DO NOT
use this feature unless you are certain that a particular
protocol is not needed or wanted on your network.
To block specific protocols running across the system, select Services > Blocked
Protocols.
