4 Switching On and O ff

This section describes how to switch on and off the telephone.

Note: If the message No System is displayed you cannot make or answer

calls. Depending on system programming, your phone can be

automatically locked. To unlock the phone, enter your four-digit code

(factory default is 0000).

4.1 Switching on

To switch on the telephone:

1. Press and hold

The telephone will vibrate when it is on and the display lights up. A control

question will be displayed to confirm switch on.

2. Press Yes.

If the phone does not switch on, or the Battery icon indicates low level,

charge the battery.

4.2 Switching off

To switch off the telephone:

1. Press and hold

After a few seconds, a control question is displayed to confirm switch off.

2. Press Yes.

The display turns blank and your phone is switched off.
