Handle Directory Numbers

Allocate names to directory numbers
When you have allocated the names, they are visible in the displays
of the display telephones. During Command mode, select
command for the preferred category of directory numbers (internal
or external):
Example:
Allocate a name to an internal directory number.
6501 Press.
Enter
Ô Press (pre-programmed).
Enter
Ô Press (pre-programmed).
z Enter Ô Enter the directory number and press (pre-programmed).
z Enter Ô Enter the name for the directory number and press (pre-
programmed).
Directory names can have a maximum of 35 characters. How to
write text, see section “Write Text” on page 19.
í Press to finish programming.
Tip! Write down the names in the charts, see sections
“Handle Directory Numbers” on page 22 and “Extension
Configuration” on page 79.
