Commands]
Note: Commands 1 5 above are used differently depending on the selected
control type. If ATHAYES is selected, commands 1 5 are sent to the
modem for initialization, followed by the telephone numbers specified
in Figure 57 “Edit Modem Parameters menu, Dial Commands.”. If
ATHAYES_LL is selected, commands 1 3 are sent to the modem to
initialize it for leased-line mode. If this does not work and the modem
attempts to established a dial-up connection, commands 4 5 are sent
to the modem for initialization, followed by the telephone numbers
specified in Figure 57.
Prior to an attempt to establish a connection, the loader program will send the
above defined init commands to the modem. It is possible to define additional
init commands in 4 and 5. For more information about modem settings, see
Node Hardware/BRU3/Telephone Modem Settings.
