20.6 Deactivate SACCH
Purpose
To stop transmission on SACCH of the addressed channel group.
Precondition and Initiation
See Channel Activation above.
The function is initiated when the RBS receives a Channel_Release
message from BSC.
Description
The RBS immediately stops all transmission on SACCH of the
addressed channel group. /GSM 08.58:4.6/

Purpose
To establish a link layer connection between MS and network.
