Transport Network to TM
The external line from the transport network interfaces to the transport module.
The type and impedance of the connector can differ from operator to operator.
7.2 Test Interface
The RBS 2106 is equipped with test interfaces for the connection of external
equipment.
CLU Self-test button
OMT The Operation and Maintenance
Terminal (OMT) interface is located
on the front of the DXU.
System voltage test The system voltage test port provides
access to the system voltage (+24 V
DC). It is located on the IDM.
7.3 Operator Interface
The Man–Machine Interface (MMI) in the RBS 2106 consists of indicators and
buttons located on the hardware units in the cabinet.
