4 EMC Capabilities
This specification covers t
he capabilities of the RBS 2000 in respect of EMC
(ElectroMagnetic Compatib
ility). The capabilities include conducted and
radiated emission as well a
s conducted and radiated immunity thresholds.
The internal EMC capabil
ities of RBS 2000 and spurious emission appearing
on antenna ports are not c

6 Lightning Protection
The lightning protection system for all external ports at an RBS site is
designed to withstand a 10/350 µs lightning strike, and a residual current of
100 kA.
