Manual Part 7

4.1 Input Filter
The incomi ng volta ge first passes through the input filter (EMC fi lter), where it is
filtered to prevent unwanted signals from being radiated from the PSU DC.
4.2 DC/DC Converter
The DC/DC converter is a phas e-shifted, full-bridge converter that converts the
DC voltage into a square wave. Th is is then fed into the primary side o f the
transformer. The co nverter limits the current in case of overload.
In the transformer, the voltage is converted to a 24 V AC square wave. This
wave is rectified to DC voltage th rough a diode rectifier.
The output provides constant power regulation, rather than the more common
current limited regulation, and delivers 1200 W over the outpu t voltage.
4.3 Output Filter
The ouput filter (EMC filter) filters the output voltage to prevent the radiation of
unwanted signals from the PSU DC.
