DC Filter for RBS 2106
This unit filter s the incoming +24 V DC power supply to conform wit h the
internal requirements of the RBS 2106.
The filter consi sts of a coaxial feed -through capacitor. The capacitor provides
full 360 earthing around the cable.
The DC filter is an EMC barrier against the outside electric al environment, and
a mechanical barrier against the outsid e climatic environment.
4 Interf ace
4.1 Signal and Power Interface
The DC filter has the following external interfaces:
• Two input terminals for 70 – 185 mm

cables. The input terminals are of the
sem i-enclosed cla mp type
• Stra in-relief clamps for cables with diameter 14 – 26 mm
• Outpu t cab le negative (-) is a 70 mm
2
cable, approximately 420 mm long,
with an Anderson power plug
• Outpu t cab le positive (+) is a 70 mm
2
cable, ab out 420 mm long, with an
Anderson power plug
• A hole is provided for the use of a temperature sensor connector. This
is an optional f eature
