The BFU-22 consists of the following blocks:
• Con ta ctors
• Circuit breakers
• Shunt
• Transport Module (TM) and EC supply
• Supervision mo dule
3.1 Contactor
The contactor is used to d isconnect the batteries from the system. The SM
contro ls the contactor.
3.2 Circuit Breaker
The circuit breaker disconnects the batteries if the current becomes too high.
It can also be manually opera ted on the front of the BFU-22 to connect or
disconnect the batteries from the DC distribution.
