Power Supply Unit (PSU)
The PSU rectifies or converts the power supply voltage to regulated system voltage,
+24 VDC.
The PSU’s are connected in parallel at the secondary side and may be configured with an
N+1 redundancy.
When using a battery backup, an extra PSU is recommended for recharging of batteries. If
the RBS is equipped with a redundant PSU no extra PSU is required for battery charging.
RBS 2206 is equipped with limited transient protection. An external “transient voltage
surge suppressor” and “lightning protection” is recommended.
