INFORMACIÓN SOBRE LA GARANTÍA
La presente garantÌa protege su aparato Equator™en
condiciones normales de utilización doméstica, familiar o
personal en los Estados Unidos.
GARANTÍA COMPLETA DE UN AÑO
Equator Corporation se compromete con el consumidor - propietario a repa-
rar o a opción de la sociedad Equator a sustituir cualquier parte de este pro-
ducto hallada defectuosa a causa de la expedición o del material usado bajo
condiciones normales doméstica, familiar o personal en los Estados Unidos y
Canada, durante un período de un año a partir de la fecha de compra.
Durante ese año, Equator Corporation suministrará toda la mano de obra y
partes necesarias para corregir dicho defecto, libre de cargos, si el aparato fue
instalado siguiendo las instrucciones escritas suministradas con el aparato. El
acceso listo para el aparato, para su mantenimiento, es responsabilidad del
consumidor - propietario.
EXCEPCIONES
Bajo ningún concepto Equator Corporation será responsable de daños acci-
dentales o consecuentes o por daños derivados de causas externas provo-
cados por abusos, utilización incorrecta, voltaje inadecuado por voluntad de
Dios.
Esta garantía no cubre llamadas de asistencia que no incluyan una expedición
defectuosa o materiales cubiertos por esta garantía. De acuerdo con ello, los
gastos de diagnóstico y reparaciones para una llamada de asistencia correrán
a cargo del consumidor propietario.
Además, las siguientes operaciones no están cubiertas por garantía y no cons-
tituyen objeto de la presente garantía:
• Instalación - retirar el seguro de transporte de forma errónea o ni-
velación incorrecta.
• Mantenimiento - Limpieza del filtro del aire o del filtro del agua.
• Desperfectos - Sustitución de la manilla rota de la puerta.
La mayor parte de las operaciones está cubierta por la garantía. El factor de-
terminante es que la responsabilidad es de Equator si el aparato no funciona
correctamente, mientras que es del cliente si éste ha provocado el mal fun-
cionamiento del aparato haciendo u omitiendo algo.
Algunos estados no consienten la exclusión o limitación de daños accidenta-
les o consecuentes por lo tanto las limitaciones mencionadas anteriormente o
exclusión pueden resultar no ser aplicables para usted
SERVICIO DE GARANTÍA

77080-7045 suministra la garantía. Para obtener el servicio de garantía se de-
ben efectuar los siguientes pasos en este orden:
1) Llamar a un agente de servicio autorizado de Equator Corporation (pida el

la guía telefónica). En condiciones normales el servicio será efectuado du-

WARRANTY INFORMATION
Your Equator® appliance is protected by this warranty
under normal personal, family or household use in the USA
FULL ONE YEAR WARRANTY
Equator Corporation undertakes to the consumer-owner to repair or, at
Equator Corporation's option, to replace any part of this product which
proves to be defective in workmanship or material under normal personal,
family or household use, in the USA and CANADA, for a period of one year
from the date of original purchase.
During this one year, Equator Corporation will provide all labor and parts
necessary to correct such defect, free of charge, if the appliance has been
installed and operated in accordance with Equator Corporation's written
instructions furnished with the appliance. Ready access to the appliance, for
service, is the responsibility of the consumer-owner.
EXCLUSIONS
In no event shall Equator Corporation be liable for incidental or consequential
damages or for damages resulting from external causes such as abuse,
misuse, incorrect voltage or acts of God.
This warranty does not cover service calls which do not involve defective
workmanship or materials covered by this warranty. Accordingly, diagnosis
and repair costs for a service call which does not involve defective
workmanship or materials will be the responsibility of the consumer-owner.
In addition, the following work is not covered under warranty and does not
constitute warranty work:
• Installation - improper hook-up or levelling
• Maintenance - cleaning of air and/or water filter
• Damage - replacing broken door handle
Most work is covered. The defining factor is, has the machine malfunctioned
(Equator is responsible) or has the customer omitted or done something to
cause machine to malfunction (customer is responsible).
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or
consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply
to you.
WARRANTY SERVICE
This warranty is given by Equator Corporation, Equator Plaza, 10067 Timber
Oak Drive, Houston, TX 77080-7045. Service under this warranty must be
obtained by the following steps, in order:
1) Call an Equator Corporation Authorized Service Agent (Obtain number of
nearest agent from your dealer or telephone directory). Under normal
circumstances, service will be provided during regular business hours (9:00
a.m. to 5:00 p.m. weekdays).
2) If service or number cannot be obtained, call the
toll-free line [phone] for assistance.
GENERAL
Since it is responsibility of the consumer-owner to establish the warranty
period by verifying the original purchase date, Equator Corporation
recommends that a bill of sale, delivery slip or some other appropriate
payment record be kept for that purpose. This warranty gives you specific
legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to
state.
