WARRANTY INFORMATION Your appliance is protected by this warranty under normal, personal, family or household use (1 Year), and limited commercial use (90 days), in the USA and Canada. WARRANTY Equator Advanced Appliances undertakes to the consumer-owner to repair or, at our option, to replace any part of this product which proves to be defective in workmanship or material under normal personal, family or household use, in the USA and Canada, for a period of one year from the date of original purchase.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS (continued) Clean the lint filter before each load to prevent lint accumulation inside the dryer or in the room. DO NOT OPERATE THE DRYER WITHOUT THE LINT FILTER IN PLACE. Keep the area around the exhaust opening, and around and underneath your appliances free from the accumulation of combustible materials, such as lint, papers, rags, chemicals, etc. Regularly inspect the exhaust duct to be sure it has not been crushed or otherwise restricted.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR EXHAUST IMPORTANT: Installation and service must be performed by a qualified installer. Please have a qualified service agent install your dryer. NOTE: The WARNING and IMPORTANT instructions appearing in his manual are not meant to cover all possible conditions and situations that may occur. It must be understood that common sense and being careful are factors that CANNOT be built into the dryer.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS (CONTD.) SEALING OF JOINTS All joints should be tight to avoid leaks. The male end of each section of duct must point away from the dryer. Do not assemble the duct work with fasteners that extend into the duct. They will serve as a collection point for lint. Duct joints can be made air and moisture-tight by wrapping the overlapped joints with duct tape.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS (CONTD.) SPECIAL INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS ALCOVE OR CLOSET INSTALLATION WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, the dryer MUST BE EXHAUSTED THE OUTDOORS. See EXHAUST INFORMATION section. Minimum clearances between dryer cabinet and adjacent walls are: 2″ either side and 3″ front and rear. Minimum vertical space from floor to overhead cabinets, etc. is 52″ (132cm). Closet door must be louvered or otherwise ventilated and must contain a minimum of 60 sq. in.

ABOUT THE DRYER CONTROL PANEL ½ Heat Run Power Light Timer Dryer Timer TIMER KNOB: Turn the Timer knob clockwise to select drying time, SEE detail in table “Suggestion fabric and drying selection”. 1. The left side is Heat Dry. Select the time up to 120 minutes. 2. The right side is tumble at room temperature.

HOW TO OPERATE YOUR DRYER PREPARING THE LAUNDRY To prevent tangled bundles of laundry; close zip fasteners; button-up bed linen and pillow cases; tie-together loose tapes, e.g. aprons. Empty all pockets. Remove all metal objects (paper clips pins etc.) Untangle the laundry. HOW TO LOAD THE CLOTHES Sort clothes by surface texture, fabric, color and weight, as you would for your washer. Do not add fabric softener sheets once the clothes have become warm. Do not overload.

CARE & CLEANING CLEAN THE FILTER BEFORE EVERY DRYER USE Slide the filter tray as shown, clean the lint filter. Put your moistened fingers at one corner of the filter and wipe in a sideways motion all the way across to the other corner. Do not operate the dryer without the filter tray in place AND Do not operate the dryer without the filter in place. Periodically, remove the lint filter (it snaps in and out) and insert the suction hose adapter from your vacuum cleaner into the opening.
TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE PROBLEM DRYER WON’T OPERATE POSSIBLE CAUSE Dryer unplugged, make sure power cord is plugged in. No power to dryer. Check circuit make sure dryer is getting power. Controls are incorrectly set. Make sure controls are and that the Power button is pressed. Opening the door during operation stops the dryer. To restart close the door and push the start button. Dryer door is open. Close door securely, dryer will not run with door open. Circuit is overloaded.
