7 LED signals and error messages

The current mode of the smoke alarm is indicated optically and audibly

by the following signals:

Operating mode

Operating status LED display Audible alarm

Observation mode red ashing every

43 sec.

Smoke alarm red ashing and

emergency lighting with

subsequent LED ash-

ing for 24 hrs (double

ash every 43 s)

Functional test

with subsquent LED

(single ash every 10 s)

Smoke chamber

43 sec.

Devices with weak or empty battery or degraded smoke chamber

may not be used and have to be replaced!
