Marking central bore hole

Make sure that no electricity or concealed lines run at the mounting

location!

• Drill the bore hole. When using the supplied plug you will need a

5 mm drill.

For mounting the device to wooden ceilings, you can use 2 mm

wood drills in order to pre-drill the bore holes and to to make

screws easier to insert.

• Use the screw and plug supplied to fasten the ceiling bracket.

• Before latching the device into the ceiling bracket, press the operating

button shortly (the alarm will not be triggered).

• Turn the smoke alarm in a clockwise direction into the ceiling bracket

until it clicks into place.
