QuadroCS Manual III: Moderator's Guide QuadroCS' Graphical Interface QuadroCS’ Graphical Interface The QuadroCS configuration management may be accessed on three different levels: Administrators, Moderators and Participants. Moderators and Participants have to login with the conference ID or Username and the particular passwords specified by the Administrator for each conference. Moderators are able to modify the login password from the Conference Properties page.

Here you may see the active conferences and the participants. From this page you may also access the settings of the conference to operate and perform actions that are available only to the moderator of each conference.

SIP Registration Server and SIP Outbound Proxy Server settings may be configured here. The SIP server registration is needed for conference to be reachable in the IP network. The following parameters are needed to configure participant settings: Participant Name requires optional information (first name, last name, nickname, etc.) about the participant. SIP Address/Tel. number requires the contact phone number (SIP address or Routing Number) of the participant.

Once the new participant connects the conference, he will automatically appear in the Conference Progress table and remain there unless disconnected from the conference. QuadroCS Manual III: Moderator's Guide Moderator's Menus Schedule The Schedule page is used to configure and manage the conference scheduling rules, so that a conference can be automatically activated on the date and time. The Scheduling service may also be configured to send invitation emails to the participants asking them to join the conference or informing about a new conference. Please Note: The table on this page is displayed in a readonly mode for the users authenticated as participants.
QuadroCS Manual III: Moderator's Guide Moderator's Menus Reservation The Reservation service allows you to reserve the conference resources having a limitation of 30 participants connected to the QuadroCS at the same time. This service is used to guarantee the number of participants in a certain conference, otherwise not all important participants might be able to connect the conference if there are other conferences running.

QuadroCS Manual III: Moderator's Guide QuadroCS’ Auto Attendant Services QuadroCS’ Auto Attendant Services Conference Server's Auto Attendant provides remote access to the QuadroCS conferences. Specifically it allows to join the conference and to use the Zero Out service (if configured). Conference Server's Auto Attendant can be accessed remotely from the IP network by dialing Auto Attendant's SIP address. The Auto Attendant has its own entry in the Conference Management table.

An ADSL circuit is much faster than a regular phone connection, and the wires coming into the subscriber's premises are the same (copper) wires used for regular phone service. Network Address Translation (NAT) - is used to allow LAN devices that do not have their own static IP addresses to connect to the Internet sharing an IP address.
