Making the Document Source setting
Before scanning, you need to make sure the Document Source
setting is appropriate. Refer to the following chart.
Making the Image Type setting
Select the type of image to be scanned from the predefined setting
in the Image Type list.
Flatbed
When placing a document on the
scanner document table.
ADF-Single-sided
Select when scanning single-sided
documents on the optional Automatic
Document Feeder. Available only when
this option has been installed.
ADF-Double-sided
Select when scanning double-sided
documents on the optional Automatic
Document Feeder. Available only when
this option has been installed.
