Using the correct DIP switch setting table
The DIP switch set DSW2 can have either 4 or 8 switches. For the 8-switch DSW2, there are two
types with different function assignments.
Before setting the DIP switch set DSW2, check which type is installed in the printer.
Identifying the DIP switch set DSW2 type
The following three types exist for the DIP switch set DSW2.
Identify the type as follows.
1. Remove the
lower plate
.
2. Check the area shown below to see if there is a printing that begins with “SET.”
3. If there is no such printing, the DSW2 is type D.
4. If there is a printing that begins with “SET,” use the following table to identify the type.
