2. Connect the lead wire assembly’s connector to the near-end detector and attach it to the
near-end detector frame with the screw.
3. Decide whether you want to install the spacers.
The amount (A) of paper remaining (including the paper roll core) when the near-end
detector senses a paper near-end is changed by the spacers.
The amount (A) with the spacers: 3 to 4 mm (0.12 to 0.16”)
The amount (A) with the spacers: 6 mm (0.24”)
The value of (A) is obtained by calculation only. Therefore, it may not be appropriate for all
printers.
