Main Assembly 10 (Case Unit)
Lower plate, ROM cover, and rubber foot assembly
The procedures in this section differ depends on if an EP-ROM is used or a flash memory is used
on the main circuit board. See Addendum 1 in this manual for more detail about the main circuit
board.
For EP-ROM equipped main circuit board
1. Attach the lower plate to the lower case and secure it with the screws.
Note:
There are two different lower plates, one has an L-shaped hole, and the other has a rectangle hole to
attach the ROM cover. Use the lower plate having L-shaped hole for the printer with EP-ROM
equipped main circuit board. See Addendum 2 for the description about the change on the lower plate.
2. Affix the ROM spacer to the ROM cover, then attach the ROM cover to the lower plate and
secure it with the screws.
3. Attach the rubber feet to the lower case. For the rubber foot attached to the front of the
printer, turn the foot lightly until it stops.
