Carriage shaft assembly

Pass the carriage shaft through the paper feed frame assembly and carriage sub assembly. At
this time, hook the paper hold spring feet to the carriage shaft’s dowels, as shown in the
illustration.

Check that the paper hold spring hooks are hooked in the correct direction. (The direction is
different for the right and left springs.)
