4. Attach the paper feed reduction gear to its shaft as shown in the second illustration below.

Make sure that the reduction gear is closer to the frame than the roller assembly gear.

5. Next, insert the J feed roller shaft holder (right) into the frame as shown in the illustration.

6. Fix the J feed roller shaft holder (left) onto the paper feed roller assembly’s shaft, insert it in

the frame, and lock it with the RE.

Note:

The right J feed roller shaft holder, which is fixed to the paper feed roller assembly, is inserted

into the frame first; then the left J feed roller shaft holder is attached.
