Maintenance
Replacing the Paper
This section describes how to replace the paper.
The paper replacement method will vary as shown below depending on the shape of the paper (roll
paper / fanfold paper) used before and after the replacement.
❏ Replacing Roll Paper with Roll Paper (see p.140)
Such as when replacing the paper with roll paper of a different type (label, size, etc.)
❏ Replacing Fanfold Paper with Fanfold Paper (see p.144)
Such as when replacing the paper with fanfold paper of a different type (label, size, etc.)
❏ Changing From Roll Paper to Fanfold Paper (see p.148)
❏ Changing From Fanfold Paper To Roll Paper (see p.154)
When changing to paper of a different type or shape, be sure to also change the printer
settings. For details on how to change the settings, see "Setting the Media Position
Detection" on page 161.
