What to expect from the print modes
For high-quality colour printing print modes such as 12 and 8 pass are recommended. For basic signage, or signage viewed at
greater viewing distances print modes such as 2 and 4 pass can be used.
You can use 8 or 12 pass print modes with the expectation of producing the highest quality. At this mode you can observe
smooth gradients, uniform solid colours and sharp halftones.
Introducing the SureColor S-Series
The SureColor S-Series printers have been designed to meet the requirements of the indoor and outdoor signage
market. Signage applications include everything from billboards to high-quality point of sale materials such as backlit displays
and high-quality vehicle wraps.
For that reason Epson has designed a range of print quality modes from high production to high-quality mode. These modes
are dened by the number of passes.
