Printer Sharing on Windows 2000 and XP

On a Host Windows 2000 computer, setting up printer sharing is done through the Sharing tab
of the printer driver properties. e procedure for Windows XP is similar.
1. From the Start menu, Settings, choose Printers.
2. e Printer dialog will open. Right-click the icon of the printer to be shared. A
context menu will appear.
3. From the context menu, choose the Properties option.
e Properties dialog for the printer will open.
Select the Sharing tab.4.
On the Sharing tab, choose Shared and enter a name 5.
