Print Head Replacement

Many technicians prefer to enter the Head Rank Information (Print Head Calibration Information) before

installing the Print Head. If that is the case, enter the information before step 1, following the directions

listed in steps 33 and 34.

1. Unplug the Printer.

2. Remove the Control Panel.

3. Remove the Top Cover.

4. Remove the Left Side Cover.

5. Remove the Right Side Cover.

6. Place a drop cloth under the center of the Printer.

7. Release the Print Head by pulling back on the Cap Assembly as shown below.
