Setting Description
Print Head Nozzle Check Prints a nozzle check pattern so you can check for clogged
nozzles
Head Cleaning Perform if the nozzle check pattern has faint or missing areas
Power Cleaning Perform if the nozzle check pattern still has faint or missing
areas after performing a head cleaning several times
Remove Paper Removes any scraps of paper that remain inside the printer
Ink Cartridge(s) Replacement Moves the print head to the correct position so you can
replace ink cartridges. Displays the ink cartridge replacement
procedure.
Replace Maintenance Box Displays the maintenance box replacement procedure
Replace Cutter Displays the cutter replacement procedure
Adjust Cut Position Shifts the position of the cut line
SProofer Setting Displayed when the optional SpectroProofer is installed
Cleaning the Maintenance Parts Moves the print head to the cleaning position for manual
cleaning and displays instructions on the LCD screen
Keeping/Transporting Preparation Discharges the ink and turns the printer off
Keeping Preparation: Discharges ink to prevent freezing
during storage
Personal Transport Preparation: Discharges ink to prevent
leaking during transportation
