Setting Options Description
Format Hard Disk Non-Secure (Quick)
Secure (Quick)
Secure (Sanitizing)
Deletes all information from the
optional print server.
Non-Secure (Quick): Deletes file
management information for data
on the hard disk. Select this
option when you want to use the
printer with a hard disk that has
been used with other printers.
Secure (Quick): Overwrites the
entire hard disk with a random
character pattern. However, it is
possible that data could be
recovered using a dedicated data
recovery tool.
Secure (Sanitizing): Overwrites
data on the hard disk with
random 00/FF data, and then
checks it using an algorithm
based on the U.S Department of
Defense standard (DoD5220-
22m). Select this option when
you need to erase confidential
data.
Restore Default Settings Network Settings Select Yes to restore all network
settings to their defaults
Clear All Data and Settings Select Yes to restore all settings
to their defaults (except
date/time, length unit, and
language settings)

Maintenance Menu
Select Menu > Maintenance to run nozzle checks, cleaning cycles, and other maintenance operations.
