Setting Options Description
CMYK Simulation — Selects the CMYK colors you want to simulate
when reproducing CMYK ink colors for an
offset printer
RGB Source Various options Selects the RGB color definition to simulate
when printing RGB data
Rendering Intent Various options Selects how to convert color spaces for
various simulations
Black Point Compensation On
Off
Set to Off to darken shadows when converting
from a wide color space to a narrow color
space
Auto Rotate On
Off
Automatically rotates print data 90 ° to the right
based on image size and paper width
Cache to Hard Disk On
Off
Select On if the print head stops frequently
during PostScript printing
Save to HDD Print and Save
Print Only
Save Only
Select if and how you want to save data for
PostScript print jobs.
PS Error Sheet On
Off
Prints the error message when a PostScript
error occurs
Optimize Edge Quality On
Off
Improves image quality at the edges of your
print. Reduces print speed and increases the
margin on the leading edge by 1.4 inches (35
mm).
PDF Rendering Level Levels 1 to 5 Lower the setting level to correct PDF printing
errors
Clear All Settings — Restores the PS Settings to their default
