1. Move the Auto switch on the take-up reel to the Off position and plug in the power cable.
2. Turn on the printer.
3. Load roll media in the printer.
4. Select the paper information area on the LCD screen and select Preparing for Take-up.
5. Wind the edge of the media around the back of the roll core.
