PS Settings
Adjust these settings as necessary when printing PostScript data; available only when the optional
PostScript Print Server is connected.
Setting Options Description
Version — Displays the PostScript/PDF version
Output Paper Size Various sizes Select the size of the output paper
Margin Options Normal Does not adjust margins for the print job
Clip Margins Adds the value selected for the page margin
inside the hard clip area of the PS command
in the data, or the size selected for the base
output size
Add Margins Auto: Adds the value selected for the page
margin outside the hard clip area of the PS
command in the data
Otherwise, adds the value selected for the
page margin outside the size selected for the
base output size (when set to a standard size)
Quality Speed
Normal
Fine
Adjusts the speed and quality of the output
Color Mode Color
Black/White
Select the color in which you want to print
CMYK Simulation — Selects the CMYK colors you want to simulate
when reproducing CMYK ink colors for an
offset printer
RGB Source Various options Selects the RGB color definition to simulate
when printing RGB data
Rendering Intent Various options Selects how to convert color spaces for
various simulations
Black Spot Corrections On
Off
Set to Off to darken shadows when converting
from a wide color space to a narrow color
space
