Setting Options Description
Feed/Cut Paper Backward
Forward
Cut
Moves the paper backward or forward, or cuts
it using the built-in cutter
Preparing to take-up — Readies the printer to accept roll paper
Print Adjustments Paper Feed Adjust Select Image Accuracy First to automatically
adjust the paper feed for image quality
Select Length Accuracy First if you are
printing images that require more precise
dimensions and length, such as CAD files
Print Head Alignment Select Uni-D Alignment to align the print
head for uni-directional printing
Select Bi-D Alignment to align the print head
for bi-directional printing
For each alignment setting, select the
following:
• Select Auto to automatically align the print
head
• Select Manual if an error appears during
automatic alignment or if you are not
satisfied with the results of the automatic
alignment
Automatic alignment takes 9 to 35 minutes,
depending on the selected alignment type
