• Special media such as film, cloth, poster board, or tracing paper: Others
8. Press the left arrow button to return to the Custom Paper menu.
9. Select Platen Gap and press the right arrow button.
10. Select a platen gap setting and press the OK button.
11. Press the left arrow button to return to the Custom Paper menu.
12. Select Thickness Pattern and press the right arrow button.
13. Press the OK button.
A paper thickness pattern prints.
14. Check the printed pattern and locate the pattern with the most evenly overlapping lines.
Note: It is normal for two patterns to look very similar. Select the most acceptable pattern.
15. Select the number of the most even pattern and press the OK button.
16. Select any additional settings in the Custom Paper Settings menu, as necessary.
17. When you finish changing the custom paper configuration settings, press pause/cancel to exit
the menu.
After you create custom paper configurations, you can print a list of the presets and the settings for each
one.
Note: You can also use the LFP Remote Panel Utility software to create custom paper configurations.
