Configuration of I/O
ports
The S1C62740 has 12 bits (4 bits × 3) general-purpose I/O ports.
Figure 4.6.1 shows the configuration of the I/O port.
The four bits of each of the I/O ports P00–P03, P10–P13 and P20–
P23 can be set to either input mode or output mode. Modes can be
set by writing data to the I/O control register.
Moreover, pull up resistor which is turned ON during input mode
can be controlled through the software.

Configuration of I/O port
The I/O ports P20–P23 are common used with the input/output
ports of the serial interface, and function of these ports can be
selected through the software.
